1. What inspired you to pursue a career in mixed martial arts and join Fight Academy Ireland?

For me training mixed martial arts was addictive as there is always something to learn, I find that part enjoyable, joining FAI was a no brainer when you look at the levels of fighters there every single day.

2. How has training at Fight Academy Ireland helped shape you as a fighter and contributed to your growth in the sport?

Training at FAI has helped and develop me as a fighter, the attention to detail has made sure every single session something is being learnt or tweaked on.

3. Who are your role models or sources of inspiration in the world of MMA?

My inspiration for MMA is reaching the heights I know I can, one of my favourite quotes is about how you should always be chasing what you can be in 10 years.

4. What is the most challenging aspect of being a professional fighter, and how do you overcome those challenges? One of the biggest challenges is it is a competitive sport with that brings good and bad days, bad days can challenge us all mentally but knowing that without them we wouldn’t be able to have good days is key!

5. How do you balance your training schedule with other aspects of your life, such as work or family?

I am lucky that MMA is my full-time career so I treat it very much as a non-negotiable, balancing life can be tricky in fight camp but it’s all for the greater good, family and friends are very understanding.

6. Are there any rituals or superstitions you follow before a fight? I am not that guy, fight week/days are chilled out for me, so I’m not caught up in any rituals or anything like that I like to go with the flow.

7. How do you stay motivated and driven during tough times or setbacks in your career? Cementing my legacy as one of the greatest fighters to do it is what I am chasing!
